Hello
did analog photography during my childhood and young adult years. Results were not satisfactory. Then a long period without images, then digital.
Now back into medium format, loving old folders. Hoping to get better at seeing, and at story telling...
I feel atracted to the printing processes before silver gelatin (carbon, salt...). But searching for ways to print minimizing environmental impact.

I wish this forum a good start!

Hi Urs,
I have recently started doing some alternative processes (to silver) such as Argyrotype, Van Dyke Brown, Cyanotype and Lumen processes. The latter process does not require chemicals or processing. You simply take a sheet of black and white enlarging paper place your subject on top and cover with glass then leave it in full sun for hours and scan the resulting image. I have inserted a Lumen print of a Bird of Paradise flower from my garden.
Cheers Kanga
