I am an natural history and biological photographer. I have been photographing since (1980) - since the 1960s if you include box brownies. I have used a wide range of black and white and colour films. My favourite black and white film was Kodak Tmax100 and colour film Kodachrome 25 and 64 iso. For colour transparency work I use Fuji velvia now. I moved to digital in about 2008. Digital has its strengths for example stacking images for increased depth of field. But I can get bored with digital and have been predominantly taking Black and white large format images in 4x5in, 8x10in and 11x14in - I have made cameras for these three formats. Please find attached an image that I took of an Old Railway Bridge over Stringybark Creek in Yering, Victoria, Australia. I used an 8x10in pinhole camera loaded with Orthochromatic film the exposure was about 4min long. Because of the relatively long exposure grazing cattle have disappeared in the captured image.
