Rod Klukas
SA-Patron Gold
My name is Rod Klukas. I have taught Film, and some Digital photo, and the History of Photography, for many years at University and College level. I have also taught workshops around the World including Antarctica, China, Chile, Argentina, France, Germany, and Sweden, all over the US.
I continue to teach one on one with people from all over.
I am the US Distributor for Arca-Swiss and the International Tech rep for Arca-Swiss, as well. I have extensive knowledge of many Darkroom techniques having been Oliver Gagliani's first assistant for 5 years as well at his Virginia City workshops. I have also done workshops with Randy Efros, Brett Weston's assistant, Kim Weston, Grandson of Edward Weston, and Dick Arentz, Master Platinum printer.
I also have an extensive library, so I may have some information on cameras and darkroom techniques, as well.
I have a good Education, BA History, BA Geography, Minor in Philosophy, and an MFA from Arizona State University.
I have worked in Camera stores for many years so am quite familiar with many Camera types and Brands. More so large format types, but 35mm and Medium Formats are no strangers.
So contact me if you need some info and I will help if I can.
